Establish the organization and support system for the Company's newest Theme Park in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Responsible to build a team, create a strong sales organization and manage operations to achieve outstanding results. This is a key role in a joint venture and overall presence and good communication skills are critical.
Motivates, instills accountability, and provides overall leadership, supervision and direction on strategic initiatives and operating standards to positively impact business results. 

* Promotes and enforces the Katmandu DNA in every aspect of the Park, be it front or back of house, ensuring that the Katmandu culture becomes a part of the employees day to day.
* Must have or be able to quickly acquire knowledge of company structure (mission, goals, and objectives), and policies and procedures.

* Hire, train, retain and develop team.
* Cultivate a strategic team environment that provides exceptional customer service while directing the management team and ensuring all staff members perform at a consistently high level.
* Maintain a strong civic presence through partnership with community and business organizations.
* Assure execution of staff training programs.
* Assure staffing levels and management coverage is appropriate to meet the needs of the business and maximize the customer experience.
* Lead and influences management staff through effective motivation, leveraging individual strengths to ensure customer satisfaction and maximum productivity.
* Assist in selecting and developing Department Heads for more responsibility or internal promotability into management.
* Insure execution of all employee recognition and incentive programs as documented.
* Promote positive employee relations including effective delegation of managerial duties, fostering high staff morale, upholding operation standards, and execution of the performance management process.
* Set annual goals and strategically develop talent.

* Optimize financial results (drive sales and control costs).
* Create annual budget and business plan to meet targeted financial performance.
* Develop relationships with key travel partners to enhance business growth and development.
* Analyze financial reports and develop action plans to grow revenue and control expenses in order to meet or exceed annual budgets.
* Maintain systems and implement procedures which insure overall fiscal responsibility, including implementing and maintaining internal control systems.
* Responsible for all aspects of the operation including tenant leasing, entertainment, food, beverage, attractions, and property to facilitate the fulfillment of financial goals and company initiatives. 
* Assist with setting venue goals and hold managers accountable for setting and meeting departmental goals.
* Capitalizes business opportunities in the market area by executing Company marketing strategies to drive sales.
* Working joint venture partners to strategize, plan, implement and follow up on key business metrics and areas of strategic importance.
* Develop long-term sales and marketing strategies and establish key metrics to evaluate market penetration and business performance.
* Develop pricing and ticketing strategies to maximize business potential and gain maximum advantage for key attraction elements.
* Assist with decisions around sales and performance incentive programs. Pro-actively search out opportunities to optimize profit. 

* Deliver an outstanding guest experience through the best combination of attractions, food, drinks and entertainment by creating an environment for celebrating all out fun.
* Maintain a safe, clean and secure environment for guests and staff.
* Continual improvement in the guest experience and quality of operations.
* Integrate tenant and owned attraction components to maximize customer satisfaction and enjoyment.
* Attract third-party tenants that will contribute to the sense of place and provide incremental values to the customer experience.
* Ensure proper hiring, orientation, training and development of staff.
* Ensure show quality and soft programming standards for venues.
* Ensure compliance with governmental regulations and guidelines related to the safe and proper operation of the Park.
* Ensure compliance with company standards for human resource management development and discipline.
* Oversee goal setting with direct reports. 

Must have a Degree in marketing, business or related field, or comparable experience, with 8 years of Proven management experience in hospitality business (Theme Parks, Family Entertainment Centers, Hotels, Resorts).

Proven management experience in hospitality business (Theme Parks, Family Entertainment Centers, Hotels, Resorts).
