JOB
SUMMARY |
Main Objective: Responsible for overseeing maintenance
efforts across the Park Facilities. Manages maintenance activities for the
upkeep of attractions and their associated systems. Oversees a range of
custodial and maintenance activities. Resolves problems as they arise whether
directly or by assembling teams to solve those issues. Provides technical guidance for: Audio,
Special Effects, Projection, Lighting, Set/Scenic, Props, Show Action
Equipment, Ride Mechanical Systems, Ride Control and Show Control Systems.

PRIMARY
RESPONSIBILITIES |
·
Promotes and enforces the Katmandu DNA in every aspect
of the Park, be it front or back of house, ensuring that the Katmandu culture
becomes a part of the employees’ day to day routine. ·
Must have or be able to quickly acquire knowledge of
and enforce company structure (mission, goals, and objectives), and policies
and procedures.

Provides technical guidance and mentoring as required
to Ride & Attraction Technicians within the day-to-day maintenance
activities in the field. Builds strong team cohesion and motivation within
the Technical Services Team. ·
Confirms maintenance activities are executed
professionally, with Ride and Attraction areas and components maintained in a
neat and workmanlike manner per company and manufacturer guidelines/recommendations. ·
Responds to major Ride & Attraction issues
immediately. Escalate communications to the appropriate Manager when there is
a significant safety issue, delay, failure or injury. Determine root cause of
issues. Develop and manage timely solutions. Communicates significant
expenses and risk. ·
Ensures the proper completion of documentation,
including: Work Orders, Compliance, Injury and Illness Reports, Equipment
Readiness reports, Housekeeping inspections, etc. ·
Oversees technical interaction with Non-Ride Personnel,
Vendors, Sub-contractors, Engineers and other relevant 3rd person parties
involved with Show and Ride Systems. Insures a clear line of communication
regarding any maintenance activities. ·
Confirms appropriate labor levels with Managers.
Addresses unplanned overtime. ·
Plans and implements action plans for the department’s
future success including training programs, workforce planning. ·
Ensures employees understand and follow all company
policies and procedures. Observes employee conduct and communicates to the
Managers both positive and negative behaviors. ·
Model a positive work approach with our employees,
partners and clients.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS |

EDUCATION |
Master
degree in facility management, Business, Engineering of related field; or equivalent
combination of education and experience required 5-7
years technical and Trade experience 3-5
years of operations management/team leadership experience; or equivalent
combination of education and experience

KNOWLEDGE
& SKILLS |

Ability to create a maintenance schedule, Ability to
troubleshoot. Knowledge of attractions, structures or grounds to be
maintained. Knowledge of maintenance procedures. ·
Ability & willingness to work overtime, weekends
and holidays with short notice. ·
Must have strong leadership, organizational and
problem-solving skills. ·
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Outlook
and PowerPoint. ·
Excellent organizational, verbal and written
communication skills.
